One of the most beautiful expressions of 17th century Rome (Baroque era) is the amazing Piazza di Spagna (1.6 Km) which stretches out in front of the Pincian Hill.

Borghese Museaum and Villa Borghese
Sculptures, buildings, museums, galleries, the Bioparco zoological gardens and evocative lakes surrounded by immense secular trees with vast open spaces offer a mix of nature and art.
The Borghese Museum houses some works of art of enormous artistic value such as Caravaggio’s “Madonna dei Palafrenieri” and Canova’s “Paolina Bonaparte”.

Palazzo di Giustizia (Palace of Justice)
Today, it houses the Supreme Court of Cassation. It is distinguished by its imposing facade making it unmissable. It was popularly known as “Il Palazzaccio” (the bad palace) due to its austere appearance and for its social role. It too is located in the immediate vicinity of the Metropolis Hotel.

The criminal section of the Court of Rome is located in Piazzale Clodio and can be reached on foot in a few minutes or by using one of the numerous overground public transport services.
Parco della Musica Auditorium
For lovers of music and concerts in Rome, the Auditorium, with its diverse programming in the arts, is very important space.

Olympic Stadium – Foro Italico
The Olympic Stadium is Rome’s main stadium and hosts, in addition to the matches of the capital’s two football teams Roma and Lazio, concerts and rugby matches of the Six Nations tournament.
The Foro Italico is the sports centre par excellence for international tennis tournaments and swimming championships.
The Olympic Stadium is a few kilometres from the hotel and can be easily reached on foot, as well as by convenient public transport.
